Relentless Poaching Surge Leaves Dozens of Dehorned Rhinos Slaughtered in Zululand

The Slaughter Goes On
In a brutal, relentless attack, tragically twenty or more of our poor Rhino — who had undergone the already traumatizing dehorning process - have now been brutally hunted, shot, and their little snubs of horn hacked off.
A Deadly Spike in Rhino Killings
The latest poaching shows a spike since September to November, with EKZN reporting twenty Rhino slaughtered for stubby horns.
Looks like instead of targeting one Rhino with larger horns, the killers slaughter many more Rhino to reach the target weight for their orders!
Syndicates Without Mercy
This latest killing proves that these ruthless syndicate killers will stop at nothing to procure Rhino horn for the Vietnamese and Chinese customers!
The EKZN statement below states two foreign poachers were killed in the Park in October and were part of a syndicate from Mozambique.
A Blow to Conservation Efforts
What a deadly blow after the massive collaboration between Ezemvelo and the World Wide Fund for Nature with support from Save the Rhino International, Zululand Wildlife, and Wildlife ACT.
South Africa, why aren't you charging China and Vietnam for these crimes?
They are slaughtering our heritage💔
